Orla is a little Jack Russell cross and she's about 1 year old. She was in terrible condition when she came into us but has recovered well with no lasting effects. She has loads of energy but also likes lazing about on the sofa/bed for hugs and belly rubs. She is good with other dogs and has lived with an 11 year old child. She is housetrained. She sits on command and her recall is excellent in the house. She sleeps all night in her crate and loves chewing her chew toys. Having been in a road traffic accident before she is scared of traffic but walks on her lead fine in quiet estate areas. Any potential owner would have to be prepared to be patient and teach her not to be so afraid of traffic. She is fully vaccinated and will be neutered and microchipped before going to her new home.

Update Mar 2011

On a sunny Saturday morning Orla went off to her new home with her lovely new owners. From looking at the 3 of them together you'd never of known that she hadn't been theirs from a puppy. Huge thanks go to Elaine and Aoife who fostered Orla and brought her back from a shy little girl, unsure of the world, into a good looking dog with loads of confidence. We hope to hear loads more about Orla as she settles in
