My name is Kirby and I am a 1 year old terrier x male. I came into the pound as a stray and I was very scared in there. But a lady from A Dogs Life took me out and over to the vets....on the way she discovered that the nail on my dew claws were very long and one had grown all the way around and into my skin and it was all infected. So the vets put me on an antibiotic and it is all healed up now. I am a fun loving little guy who is great with other dogs and even cats. I am still quite young so I like to play. I am good on the lead and house trained. I am just looking for a loving home of my own really. The ladies at A Dogs Life said I should start interviewing early so that I can find the home that suits me best. I have started my vaccinations and will be neutered and microchipped in a few weeks after which I will be ready for a new home.

Well it seems that Kirby has found the place he wants to stay and has convinced his foster family that he'd be much better off living with them on a permanent basis :) Best of luck Kirby!
